Another Win for the Lions!

By: Kristen Narain, Staff Reporter

On Tuesday, November 1, TD’s volleyball team played a rematch against the New York School of the Deaf (NYSD). Many parents, teachers, and even our school headmaster, Mr. Flemming, came to the home game to support both teams. After a long and tiring match, the Lions won three out of the four sets played.

Both teams put up a great fight, playing with determination and teamwork like a team should. Although they had a slight disadvantage, the NYSD played like any other team and were very capable.

Everyone had a smile on their face by the end of it, so I must say the game was outstanding!

All players showed their skill through hard work and practice. The Lion’s coach, Mr. Schlitten, stated that “He couldn’t be prouder”.

Congratulations to both teams for an amazing game and to TD for another win! The Journal would like to thank all those who went out to support TD’s volleyball team and wish them the best of luck in the future.

Go Lions!
